Rates and Insurance
Rates
Our pricing for therapy differs depending on the type of service, length of service and provider.
Therapy rates range from $80 - $220 per hour with our licensed clinicians.
Christian Counseling rates range from $50 - $60 with our Certified Christian Counselor.
Insurance
We accept insurance for our individual therapy services. We do not accept insurance for couples therapy or Christian counseling with our Certified Christian Counselor. We are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
Aetna
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (this may include other blue cross blue shield providers that bill through HBCBS)
Out-of-Network
If you have an insurance that we are not in-network with, we would be happy to give you receipts that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement for sessions if you have out-of-network benefits through your provider.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
- How much will I be reimbursed for out-of-network benefits?
Payment
We accept Visa, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, & HSA cards as forms of payment via our client portal.
Once you are set up with a client portal, you will need to go to "Manage Saved Cards" at the top of the screen and add a card to be kept on file prior to your initial session.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. There is a $100 charge for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice and/or not appearing to session.
Good Faith Estimate (GFE) Policy
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about how to dispute a bill, see your estimate or understand the rights to Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
