Meet Ikepo Babajide, BA
“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can't practice any other virtue consistently.”
― Maya Angelou
It takes courage to sit down with someone you do not know and share personal stories and details about yourself. What is courage? Courage is the ability to do something that is frightening. I’m sure taking the steps to find a therapist requires great levels of courage. You are not allowing fear or worry that may be tugging at your heart to stop you from doing what is best for you!
As your therapist, we will explore your experiences and you will feel heard and valued. We will partner together as you take steps towards wellness, growth, self awareness and positive change. It is my responsibility to provide a comfortable, judgment free, safe environment and establish a warm, caring therapeutic relationship.
I have a background in working with children and adolescents, young adults and women of all ages. I also have experience working with families. I draw from a range of techniques in order to address the unique needs of the individual.
I’m currently working towards receiving a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I graduate in May 2023. I am currently a counseling intern at Morning Joy and receiving my supervision from Don Keller, LPC, LCADC, ACS, CCS (Lic. #:37PC00021600).
