12 Motivating Mindsets to Live By Today!

Every experience you have is shaped by your thinking, whether it be positive or negative. Though you may have endured negative obstacles, even they have a purpose when you are able to shift your mindset and see what value they have to offer. You can develop an outlook that will help you to feel happier and accomplish more, no matter what the situation may be.

I would invite you to take a look at the following motivating mindsets that you can begin utilizing today to revolutionize your life, beyond what you could possibly imagine, through the power of positive thinking.

Motivating Mindsets to Make You Strive

1. I take responsibility. You are in charge of your life. Hold yourself accountable for the outcomes you create. We were given free will. Celebrate the fact that you have the power to determine your own future.

2. I apply effort. Consider what success looks like to you and have a clear “why” so that you know the reason why you are putting in the work. Recognize any progress that you make and celebrate rather than casting self-doubt for not being in a different place. Things will come together in time.

3. I leverage my strengths. You have your own individual strengths that you can draw on. Figure out what you’re good at and what you want to do. Let that knowledge guide your choices.

4. I listen to feedback. Ask for feedback to help improve yourself personally and professionally. You will gain a greater sense in understanding yourself and have light shed on areas for growth, which in turn, will help you evolve. It also shows that you respect the other person’s perspective.

5. I ask for help. Asking for help is a sign of strength, can strengthen your relationships, or show you that there may be a simple solution to your problem. Build a strong network of support around you. Look for areas in your life where you can divide or outsource tasks in order to lessen the load and free up more physical and mental space.

6. I connect with others. This includes physical connection as well as moral support. Moral support counts too. Surround yourself with loving and supportive friends and family. If you are part of a community of faith, do not only receive each week, but become an active participant and server. If you have particular interests of skills, locate a group, whether it be a club or meet-up where you can connect with those who share your interests.

Motivating Mindsets to Warm Your Soul

1. I understand my potential. You can achieve AMAZING results when you put your mind to it. Feel enthusiastic about reaching your true potential.

2. I can find meaning in my trials. The challenging times may very well be the seasons that become the most valuable part in your life, oftentimes growing you and making you stronger. Know that you can arise from any trial or challenge with a greater sense of strength, courage and wisdom. Reflect on the challenges that you have overcome in the past and tell yourself that you are capable to handle whatever may come in the future.

3. I count my blessings. Reflect on and list each thing, situation, or person that you have or currently have in your life that you are grateful for. It’s not just about the larger things, but also the smaller ones like your ability to see the sunshine, or a special tea. Expression of your gratitude will remind you of the abundance that is already present.

4. I give generously. When you share your blessings, including your time, resources, or your heart, you get a sense of joy and purpose. Smile at each person you encounter today. Think of a way that you can volunteer in your community. Pay for the order of the person behind you in the drive-through.

5. I accept change. Acknowledge and accept that life is a journey that involves change. Shift your focus to the present moment, letting go of what happened in the past and equipping yourself to adjust to whatever situation that may arise.

6. I dream big. Take inventory of the desires of your heart and write them down, without holding back. Don’t be afraid to dream outside the box. Once you have your goals written down, you will be able to work on the step you need to take to get there

Having a positive attitude will go a long way in increasing your sense of happiness as well as your ability to be productive. Examine your former assumptions so that you can then re-frame or replace them with new, helpful and adaptive thoughts and assumptions. This will help you gain more confidence in your potential to achieve the life that you are destined for. Hold fast to the motivating mindsets that build you up, opposed to the ones that keep you feeling stuck and unsure of yourself. There’s no better day than today to begin. You will be glad that you did, and thank yourself in the future!
